It's a great place to enjoy drinks and play mini golf. It was my first time doing indoor mini golf, and it was kind of fun. They have around 9 holes, if I remember correctly. The draft beer selection on tap is excellent, with plenty of options to choose from.
I am here for work regularly and this is the first time I had the pleasure of enjoying Tipsy putt. I drank a bunch of amazing beer, ate amazing tacos ( I am from San Diego so that is saying something) and got play golf on a different level. The nor.al putt putt is awesome but the table top style is just as good. I will 100% be coming here every trip to the Bay area for good beer, food and memories.
Fun place to gather with people for eats, drinks and fun. Came here for a huge family xmas party (ages 3-80). We had a semi private section with catered brunch. I've heard the eggs were a bit salty but overall everyone loved the food and atmosphere. I'm not a drinker so I'll have to take the word of my family that they enjoyed the beer. We had limitless games with our party so we were able to play rounds of both mini golf and 1-2 putt. Both were a hit with kids and adults, even the elders who are all retired regular golfers loved it. Service was friendly and welcoming.
This is a great place to spend quality time with others... date night, friends group, family outing (kids before 5pm, then 21+). Paid parking on the street or nearby garage.
This is lots of fun especially with friends and family , taco Tuesday was awesome ! parking was hard to find , bring your own change or card for the meter because they don’t always work and none of the fancy stores on the block have change .
Overall it was a great experience on Saturday night. It was pretty busy around 6pm and more people arrived after that. We were told by friends that on the weekday it was dead so I'm sure most of the business is on the weekend.
We had drinks and the cocktail was great. They have many rotating beers and will let you sample. The bartender was very nice. We didn't get food so I can't comment on it, but I didn't see many people eating.
Games: hand putt I expected not to like but really liked, however the actual mini putt/golf I expected to like and didn't really like! If you enjoy miniature golf then I wouldn't exactly recommend it unless you want to be casual with friends and drinks, because the courses were very simple and plain. Most of the courses were the same L shape as you can see in the picture. Also when there's groups of 4 or more it takes them a very long time so we ended up going to different holes. At this point we waited around 30 minutes to mini golf and it was still crowded and slow, which makes no sense. Hand putt had no wait time the whole duration we were there so we played it twice. Hand putt can get crowded since the games are close together but overall not as bad.
I would recommend this place for a group date or hang out because the music and everyone there is pretty loud, not intimate. It was really nice for a rainy day. I'm not sure I would come back anytime soon since there's not much replay value but maybe in a year. It's worth checking out once!
I also want to mention they also have Cornhole and a random extra area that seems to be a speakeasy, but it's really weird placement.. and since the rest of the place is very loud, I'm not sure why anyone would want to go there. They had a few customers. The unisex bathrooms were smelly- not a fan.
Overall the drinks are expensive but we had a deal to go. I wouldn't ever pay $13 for a premade cocktail (they pour beer and premade cocktails)- the speakeasy probably has cocktails created from scratch.
I recommend visiting once as a group date or friend time.
